Abstrakt	The article aimed to present the state of the organization of the fruit and vegetable market in Poland in 2020. Based on a library query and available registers, changes in the number of producer groups and organiza tions, their members, and the selected organizational form and category of products offered in Poland in 2004-2020 were presented. After the introduction of legislative changes in 2012, limiting the co-financing of the market organization process, a chronic decrease in both the number of existing fruit and vegetable producer organizations and their members is noticeable. Such a long-term trend may lead to a decline in the market organization and bargaining power of domestic producers. To prevent further disintegration of pro ducer groups and organizations, it is suggested that they should be provided with institutional support that would be long-lasting and stable.

Abstrakt	The aim of this article was to initiate a discussion on the possibility of implementing the paradigm of sustainable agriculture by integrated fruit and vegetable producers. On the basis of the literature review the concept of industrial and sustainable agriculture and the dual model combining the advantages of both ideas were presented. Research has shown that institutional solutions have inspired horticulturists to join producer groups/ /organisations, resulting in an increase in the number of products offered on the domestic and international market. The strength of the correlation analysed between the number of producer groups/organisations and the selected characteristics of the fruit and vegetable market showed that integrated producers have a greater impact on the vegetable market than fruit. This impact had the properties of industrial agriculture. The structure of Polish groups/organisations in terms of their number allows us to suppose that, as small, often family businesses, they have premises to implement the paradigm of sustainable agriculture using the dual model. However, such an idea requires further long-term institutional support.

Abstrakt	Celem opracowania było rozpoznanie stanu i regionalnego zróżnicowania integracji producentów w branżach rolniczych, preferencji dotyczących wyboru form prawnych przedsiębiorstw, przedstawienie zakresu przyznanej pomocy finansowej ze środków krajowych i Unii Europejskiej oraz możliwości wsparcia finansowego w perspektywie lat 2014–2020. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że według stanu na 30.06.2017 roku wsparcie finansowe dla grup producentów rolnych wynosiło tylko 882,7 mln zł, a dla grup/organizacji producentów owoców i warzyw 7,8 mld zł, w tym 98,7% otrzymały wstępnie uznane grupy producentów owoców i warzyw. W nowej perspektywie finansowej 2014–2020 grupy producentów rolnych utworzone w kategoriach: drób żywy, mięso i jadalne podroby wyłączone zostały z możliwości wsparcia finansowego, a pomoc w sektorze owoców i warzyw może być realizowana jedynie dla uznanych organizacji producentów na dofinansowanie funduszu operacyjnego.
Abstract	The aim of the study was to identify the state and regional diversification of producers’ integration in the agricultural sector, the preferences for the choice of legal forms of companies as well as to present the scope of financial suport granted from national and European funds, and the possibility of financial support in the 2014–2020 perspective. According to the analysis, as of June 30, 2017, financial support for agricultural producer groups was only PLN 882.7 million and for fruit and vegetable producer groups / organizations PLN 7.8 billion, including 98.7% pre-approved groups of fruit and vegetable producers. In the new financial perspective for 2014–2020, agricultural producer groups established in the category of live poultry, meat and edible offal are excluded from financial support, while aid in the fruit and vegetable sector can only be provided to recognized producer organizations for co-financing of the operational fund.

Abstrakt	Production of fruits and vegetables in Poland is characterized by a high degree of fragmentation. Manufacturers have poor technical background and little use of modern technologies. In conjunction with the lack of use of marketing opportunities, Polish fruit and vegetable producers cannot compete on the global market. Taking joint cooperation through producer groups and organizations can be the solution to the problem. EU accession in 2004 was a accelerator for development of producer groups and organizations in Poland. Financial support from the Community, national funds and the evolution of EU and national legislation had a positive impact on cooperating manufacturers on Polish market during the analysed period. Data show the development of fruit and vegetable producer groups and organizations in Poland in the years 2004–2010, focusing on their legal form, size, cultivation area, volume and value of production.
